Britney Spears Divorce: The Drama Keeps Coming
Usually a divorce means an end between two formerly married people. But the end doesn’t seem to be in sight for Britney Spears and Kevin Federline. Sure, their divorce was finalized yesterday. But it’s not over yet.
With all the unpredictable behavior coming from Britney as of late, Kevin is hitting her hard for full custody of their two sons, Jayden James 1, and Sean Preston, 2. And believe it or not, K-Fed’s got a pretty good case.
A source told press, “The lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan is going to claim that Britney failed to meet any of the benchmarks, including attending Alcoholics Anonymous, after finishing her 28-day stint in rehab earlier this year.”
But if Britney’s sweating this, she’s not showing it. Her pitbull-in-disguise-lawyer Laura Wasser says that it’s all good. “Custody is always negotiable. Britney would like to be with her kids more.”
With the divorce finalized, everyone breathed a collective sigh of relief for the moment, before beginning the custody battle. Wasser told press, “Today we’ve just finalized the status quo. This judgment gets them divorced. I’m relieved this is over.”
Wasser requested and was granted a sealing of the custody documents, which disallows the public from knowing where the Federline boys will be at any given time.
